Subject Walmart Milk
FYI... Great Value.  Please the article below…..I don’t know how true this is though.

wal-mart milk IMPORTANT INFOMUST READ!!!!!

WOW!! I  LOOKED THIS UP ON SNOPES AND ITS "PRETTY MUCH" TRUE. THE GOVERNMENT PROBABLY JUST WANTS YOU TO NOT BE AWARE . PERSONALLY....I WON'T BUY ANYMORE. WAL-MART MILK: Just in case any of you shop at Wal-Mart like me, you might want to reconsider buying their Milk after reading this...
Please read this and pass along to as many people as you can think of.
Mitzi Lyons and her husband Kyle live in Gainesville , TX . Their daughter, Marissa, has been experiencing menstrual problems (bleeding every day) for three years and within the last year; she started producing milk (lactating). They have performed every test, every surgery, put her on birth control and in January were scheduled to undergo a hysterectomy. NEVERTHELESS, Mitzi's dad started researching his granddaughter's condition on the internet found out about RBST in milk. RBST is a hormone injected into cows to produce more milk.
Wal-Mart Great Value milk contains RBST and is the brand that the Lyons family has used for years. Three months ago, they pulled Marissa off Great Value Milk and she quit bleeding and lactating. Her doctors in Houston are going to write a medical journal discovery about her case, because the FDA says that RBST is safe. Mitzi asked me to please share this with everyone I could think of to I hope that save someone the pain and suffering that Marissa has endured. I have pulled my family from Wal-Mart Great Value milk and bought Borden instead. Borden has a label on their milk that states that RBST is not used on their cows. Please
 pass this on......

From: Anderson, Carmen

From Robert Ketchel
EM2 1961-1965 TT 26
I did not know you guys were paying this much for gasoline, almost $4 per
gal. or per four liters. Here in Calif we are also paying higher to $ 3.50
per gal. My line of work is in petroleum pipeline for about 31 years now,
so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every liter.
Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground
temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their
storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the more dense is
the gasoline. When it gets warmer, gasoline expands, so buying in the
afternoon or in the evening, your 1-liter is not exactly 1-liter. In
petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the
gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an
important role
Here in Kinder Morgan pipeline where I work in San Jose , CA we delivered
about 4 million gallons in 24-hours period t hru the pipe line, one day
it's diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium
grade.  We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000
gallons.  So you see a 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for the
business, but the service stations do not have temperature compensation at
the pump
Also one more reminder, if there is a gasoline truck bringing loads at the
time when you have to buy gas, do not fill up because most likely the
gasoline has been stirred up when the gas is delivered, and you might get
some of the dirt that settled at the bottom
When you're filling up, do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast
mode. If you look up you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages:
lo, mid, and hi, with slow mode you should be pumping on low speed, thereby
minimizing the vapors that were created while you are pumping. All hoses at
the pump are sort of corrugated, that one is a return line for vapor's
recovery for the gas that has already been metered.
If you are pumping on fast rates, some of the liquid that goes to your tank
become vapors, those vapors were being sucked up back to the underground
tank so that you're getting less worth of your money.
One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is half
full or half empty. The reason for this is, the more gas you have in your
tank the less air occupying it's empty space, remember gasoline evaporates
faster than you think.
You see all gasoline storage tanks haves an internal floating roof, this
roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, it
minimizes the evaporation. Unlike the service stations, here where I work
every truck load that we load is temperature compensated so that gallons or
liter is actually the exact amount.
Hope this will help you guys with your pain at the pump cost

Important Support for Women and Breast Cancer

Hey-

This is a real petition through the Lifetime Network. Please sign it.

Thanks, Chanell

 From a nurse:

I'll never forget the look in my patients eyes when I had to tell them they had to go home with the drains, new exercises and no breast. I remember begging the Doctors to keep these women in the hospital longer, only to hear that they would, but their hands were tied by the insurance companies. So there I sat with my patient giving them the instructions they needed to take care of themselves, knowing full well they didn't grasp half of what I was saying, because the glazed, hopeless, frightened look spoke louder than the quiet 'Thank you' they muttered.

A mastectomy is when a woman's breast is removed in order to remove cancerous breast cells/tis sue . If you know anyone who has had a mastectomy, you may know that there is a lot of discomfort and pain afterwards. Insurance companies are trying to make mastectomies an outpatient procedure. Let's give women the chance to re cover properly in the hospital for 2 days after surgery.

 Mastectomy Bill in Congress

It takes 2 seconds to do this and is very important .. please take the time and do it really quick!

Breast Cancer Hospitalization Bill - Important legislation for all women.

Please send this to everyone in your address book. If there was ever a time when our voices and choices should be heard, this is one of those times. If you're receiving this, it's because I think you will take the 30 seconds to go to vote on this is sue and send it on to others you know who will do the same.

There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which will require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the 'drive-through mastectomy' where women are forced to go home just a few hours after surgery, against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and sometimes with drainag e tubes still attached. Lifetime Television has put this bill on their web page with a petition drive to show your support. Last year over half the House signed on.

PLEASE!! Sign the petition by clicking on the "Lifetime Channel TV" web site below. You need not give more than your name and zip code number.

http://www.lifetimetv.com/breastcancer/petition/signpetition.php

This takes about 2 seconds. PLEASE PASS THIS ON to your friends and family, and on behalf of all women, THANKS.

Virginia Introduces $3550 Speeding Ticket

From: Morrow, Mac

Subject: Obey the speed limit in VA
Virginia Introduces $3550 Speeding Ticket
Virginia legislator introduces new speeding ticket tax that boosts penalties beyond $3550, driving business to his traffic law firm.
Virginia motorists convicted of minor traffic violations will face a new, multi-year tax beginning July 1. Led by state Delegate David B. Albo (R-Springfield), lawmakers slipped a driver responsibility tax into a larger transportation funding bill signed by Governor Tim Kaine (D) in April. Albo, a senior partner in the Albo & Oblon, LLP traffic law firm, can expect to see a significant increase in business as motorists seek to protect their wallet from traffic tickets that come with assessments of up to $3000 in addition to an annual point tax that tops out at $700 a year for as long as the points remain.

"The purpose of the civil remedial fees imposed in this section is to generate revenue," the new law states. (Virginia Code 46.2-206.1)

Driving as little as 15 MPH over the limit on an interstate highway now brings six license demerit points, a fine of up to $2500, up to one year in jail, and a new mandatory $1050 tax. The law also imposes an additional annual fee of up to $100 if a prior conviction leaves the motorist with a balance of eight demerit points, plus $75 for each additional point (up to $700 a year). The conviction in this example remains on the record for five years.
Other six-point convictions include "failing to give a proper signal," "passing a school bus" or "driving with an obstructed view." The same $1050 assessment applies, but the conviction remains on the record for eleven years.
Although the amount of the tax can add up quickly, the law forbids judges from reducing or suspending it in any way. The tax applies only to Virginia residents, so that out-of-state motorists only need to pay the regular ticket amount. Michigan , New Jersey , New York and Texas also impose a somewhat more modest driver responsibility tax which they apply to out-of-state residents.
The Virginia Supreme Court provides a full explanation of the new penalties for each traffic infraction in the 34k PDF file at the source link below.

Subject: Watch your license plates

From: DEIRDRE MELTON

Guess we just have to be very AWARE of what is going on around us !!!

Some people are evidently going to the extreme. A woman said her son found his license plate missing so he called the Police to file a report. They told him people were stealing the plates To get free gas. Given the rise in gas prices, people have taken to Stealing license plates, putting them on their car, then getting gas and Running. The gas station will have "YOUR"

license plate # and you Could be in trouble for "pump and run." Check your car periodically to be Sure you still have a plate. If you should find it missing, file a report Immediately! !! Keep an eye on your license plate! Make sure you Always know it's there When the license plate is reported as the "drive off vehicle", it's YOU they contact! Be aware!!!! Be aware of your License plates, most of us never look to see if the plates are there or not.

Google's New Search Engine - Reverse Look-up on Home Telephone Numbers with MapQuest

Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit MapQuest,

you will get a map to the person's house.
Everyone should be aware of this! It's a nationwide reverse telephone book.
If a child gives out his/her phone number, someone can now look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious, and alarming.
Note that you can have your phone number removed or blocked.

I tried my number and it came up along with the mapquest and directions straight to our house.

I did fill out the removal form for myself, and encourage all of you to do the same. Quite scary.
Please look up your own number.
In order to test whether your phone number is mapped, go to: google (
http://www.google. com/) Type your phone number in the search bar (i.e. )and hit enter. If you want to B L O C K Google from divulging your private information, simply click on your telephone number and then click on the Removal Form. Removal takes 48-hours.
Check your own number and although this may not apply to you if you have an unlisted number or cell phone as primary contact, but you may know someone who needs to know this.
Please share this information with friends and family.

McDonalds, Chuck E Cheese, Discovery Zone

From:  Rose Marie Gerald
Please share this message with those friends and family members that are on your mailing list

and hopefully they will pass it on to others as well.

I know you always have tons of good information, I haven't seen nor heard about this one before.
Thanks!
Rosie

McDonalds, Chuck E Cheese, Discovery Zone... Some of you might not be
parents, but you may have nieces, nephews, grandchildren or friends with
children. This will pertain to you too. As I read the following, my
heart sank. I urge each and every one of you to pass this on to as many
people as you can. I cannot stress how important this is!
This is very disturbing news. In addition to the following true story...
One son lost his watch, and was very upset. We dug and dug in those
balls, trying to find the watch.
Instead, we found vomit, food, feces, and other stuff I do not want to
discuss. I went to the manager and raised hell. Come to find out, the
ball pit is only cleaned out once a month. I have doubts that it is even
done that often. My kids will never play in another ball pit. Now read
this:
PRETTY SCARY!!
Hi. My name is Lauren Archer, my son Kevin and I lived in Midland , TN.
On October 2nd, 1999 I took my only son to McDonald's for his 3rd
birthday.
After he finished lunch, I allowed him to play in the ball pit. When he
started whining later on, I asked him what was wrong, he pointed to the
back of his pull-up and simply said "Mommy, it hurts." I couldn't find
anything wrong with him at that time. I bathed him when we got home, and
it was at that point when I found a welt on his left buttock. Upon
investigating, it seemed as if there was something like a splinter under
the welt. I made an appointment to see the doctor the next day, but soon
he started vomiting and shaking, then his eyes rolled back into his head.

From there, we went to the emergency room. He died later that night. It
turned out that the welt on his buttock was the tip of a hypodermic
needle that had broken off inside. The autopsy revealed that Kevin had
died from a heroine overdose. The next week, the police removed the
balls from the ball pit. There was rotten food, several hypodermic needles:
some full, some used; knives, half-eaten candy, diapers, feces,
and the stench of urine.

If a child is not safe in a child's play area then where? You can find
the article on Kevin Archer in the October 10,1999 issue of the Midland
Chronicle.
Please forward this to all loving mothers, fathers and anyone who loves
and cares for children!
Don't think it's just McDonald's either or that this is something that
just started. When my oldest son who is now 9 was small the area Burger
King closed their play area for awhile for "remodeling" because in
another town there had been an incident similar to the one described
above that happen @ a Burger King.
A little boy had been playing in a ball pit & started complaining of his
legs hurting. He later died too. He was found to have snake bites all
over his legs & buttocks. When they cleaned the ball pit they found that
there was a copperhead nest in the ball pit. He had suffered numerous
bites from a very rye poisonous snake.
AND FYI:
In Florida and other places on the East Coast a group of people are
putting HIV/AIDS infected and filled needles underneath gas pump
handles, so when someone reaches to pick it up and put gas in their car,
they get stabbed with it. 16 people have been a victim of this crime so
far and 10 tested HIV positive. It's important to inform people, even if
you don't drive, a family member might, and what if they were next?
CHECK UNDER THE HANDLE BEFORE YOU GRAB IT!!! IT MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE!

UPS Uniforms: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

There has been a huge purchase, $32,000 worth, of United Parcel Service

(UPS) uniforms on eBay over the last 30 days.  This could represent a

serious threat as bogus drivers(terrorists) can drop off anything to

anyone with deadly consequences! If you have ANY questions when a UPS

driver appears at your door they should be able to furnish VALID I.D.

Additionally, if someone in a UPS uniform comes to make a drop off or

pick up, make absolutely sure! they are driving a UPS truck. UPS

doesn't make deliveries or pickups in anything, except a company

vehicle. If you have a problem, call your local law enforcement agency

right away!

TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! Tell everyone in your office, your family, your

friends, etc. Make people aware so that we can prepare and/or avoid

terrorist attacks on our people! Thank you for your time in reviewing

this   and PLEASE send to EVERYONEon your list, even if they are friend

or foe. We should all be aware!

ATTORNEY'S ADVICE -- NO CHARGE

Read this and make a copy for your files in case you need to refer to
it someday. Maybe we should all take some of his advice! A corporate
attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company.

1. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put "PHOTO ID
REQUIRED".

2. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO
NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line. Instead, just put
the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the
number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through
all the check processing channels won't have access to it.

3. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone. If
you have a PO Box use that instead of your home address. If you do not
have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your
checks. (DUH!) You can add it if! it is necessary. But if you have it
printed, anyone can get it.
4. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both
sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in
your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and
cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. I also carry a photocopy of my
passport when I travel either here or abroad. We've all heard horror
stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a name, address,
Social Security number, credit cards.

Unfortunately, I, an attorney, have firsthand knowledge because my
wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieve(s) ordered an
expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had
a credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer, received a PIN number
from DMV to change my driving record information online, and more. But
here's some critical information to limit the dama! ge in c ase this happens
to you or someone you know:

5. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. But
the key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you
know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them.

6. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your
credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you were
diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if there ever
is one).

But here's what is perhaps most important of all: (I never even thought
to do this.)

7. Call the 3 national credit reporting organizations immediately to
place a fraud alert on your name and also call the Social Security fraud
line number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that
called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in
my name. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows !

your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to

 authorize
new credit.

By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft,
all the damage had been done. There are records of all the credit checks
initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before
placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the
thieves threw my wallet away this weekend (someone turned it in). It seems
to have stopped them dead in their tracks.

Now, here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet,
etc., has been stolen:

1.) Equifax: 1-800-525-6285

2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742

3.) Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289

4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line): 1-800-269-0271

We pass along jokes on the Internet; we pass along just about
everything.

If you are willing to pass this information along, it coul! d reall y help
someone that you care about.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured
everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and that
she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got
her
cleaned up and got her a new plate of food.  While she appeared a bit
shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.
Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been
taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm, Ingrid passed away.) She had
suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs
of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die.
They
end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this...

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours
he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the
trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the
patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR. Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.
Unfortunately,
the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer
severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms
of
a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three
simple questions:

S *       Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *       Ask the person to TALK to SPEAK A
SIMPLE SENTENCE
                                    (Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny
out today)
R *       Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

*NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this:

Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue.  If the
tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also
an indication of a stroke.   If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of
these tasks, call 911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the
dispatcher.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail
sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be
saved.

ATTORNEY'S ADVICE-----NO CHARGE

A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company.

1.  The next time you order checks have only your initials (instead of first name) and last name put on them.  If someone takes your checkbook, they will not know if you sign your checks with just your initials or your first name, but your bank will know how you sign your checks.

2.  Do not sign the back of your credit cards.  Instead, put "PHOTO ID REQUIRED."

3.  When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line.  Instead, just put the last four numbers.  The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check-processing channels will not have access to it.

4.  Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone.  If you have a PO Box, use that instead of your home address.  If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address.  Never have your SS# printed on your checks, (DUH!).  You can add it if it is necessary.  However, if you have it printed, anyone can get it.

5.  Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine.  Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc.  You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place.  Also carry a photocopy of your passport when traveling either here or abroad.  We have all heard horror stories about fraud that is committed on us in stealing a name, address, Social Security number, credit cards.

6.  When you check out of a hotel that uses cards for keys (and they all seem to do that now), do not turn the "keys" in.  Take them with you and destroy them.  Those little cards have on them all of the information you gave the hotel, including address and credit card numbers and expiration dates.  Someone with a card reader, or employee of the hotel, can access all that information with no problem whatsoever.

Unfortunately, as an attorney, I have first hand knowledge because my wallet was stolen last month.  Within a week, the thieves ordered an expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had a credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer and received a PIN number from DMV to change my driving record information online.  Here is some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know:

1.  We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. The key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call.  Keep those where you can find them.

2.  File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen.  This proves to credit providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if there ever is one).  However, here is what is perhaps most important of all (I never even thought to do this.)

3.  Call the three national credit reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number.  I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in my name.  The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit.  By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done.  There are records of all the credit checks initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away this weekend (someone turned it in).  It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks.

Now, here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet and

contents being stolen:

1.) Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
3.) TransUnion: 1-800-680-7289
4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line): 1-800-269-0271

We pass along jokes on the Internet; we pass along just about everything.

Nevertheless, if you are willing to pass this information along, it could really help someone about who you care.
